Check-in and check-out,
on the tablet you already own.
Your insurer wants students checked in and out. isolace does that from $99 a month, on a tablet you already own. You set it up yourself in an afternoon. No scanner to buy. And because it is a tablet and not a scanner, the check-in is also the photo: the one a parent wants on a Friday, and the one that fills your Instagram.
This is the screen, not a drawing of it
A student points their folder QR at the tablet, picks a prop, and that is the check-in. The props are the real ones: the seasonal set rotates with the calendar, and the gold one is the Kumon level that student is actually on.
Everything below is the same — the screens on this page are captures of the product, taken against an invented roster. No student, photo or center appears on this site.

Example — what one tap writes
Tap your name
Check-in
$99 / mo
- Student check-in and check-out
- A check-in log your insurer can read
- Runs on a tablet you already own
What a scanner does, done properly. If compliance is all you need, this is all you need.
Family
$199 / mo
- Everything in Check-in
- The self check-in kiosk — the child takes their own selfie on the way in. This is the part they walk up to
- A weekly video for each family, from that week's photos
- Weekly email to every parent
What a scanner cannot do. Your photos go to your families — not switched on for anywhere else yet.
Growth
$399 / mo
- Everything in Family
- Staff catch moments in two taps, all day
- We run your accounts — Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, posted as often as there is something worth posting, captions written for you
- We take part in local parent groups and discussion boards — every message is drafted for you and nothing is posted until you approve it
The other three, in full
- From your own accounts, by our browser. You never hand over a password
- A birthday card for every student, printed and mailed — the one piece of post a parent puts on the fridge
- Tuition and billing · time sheets and payroll hours · QuickBooks sync · job postings
Where most centers land
Everything it takes to run the center, and the marketing on top. Three new families a year covers the whole thing.
Studio
$699 / mo
- Everything in Growth
- Grading
- Referral letters to the schools, daycares and non-profits near you — written, printed and mailed, so the places that already meet your future students hear from you
The other three, in full
- 50 cards a month included — welcome cards for new families and holiday cards for current ones, on top of the birthdays
- A monthly highlight reel · a monthly enrollment report
- Your books in isolace — profit and loss, expenses, reconciliation. It replaces QuickBooks rather than syncing to it, so that subscription stops
Inbound and outbound, both handled — and the QuickBooks bill you stop paying comes off the difference. Less than a part-time marketing assistant, and it does not call in sick.
Claim your center

Why a tablet, not a scanner
The child uses it
A scanner is a faster clipboard an adult operates. The kiosk is something a seven-year-old walks up to on their own.
It keeps working offline
Centers have bad wifi. A check-in succeeds with no network and syncs when it comes back. A dropped check-in is a child unaccounted for.
Nothing new to buy
No dedicated hardware, no contract for a device. If you have a tablet, you have a kiosk.
The log your insurer can read
Every arrival and every pickup, with the time on both ends and how long the student was in the center. Sortable, searchable, and paged on the server — a center with four thousand check-ins gets all four thousand, not the first page with the rest quietly dropped.
A correction is an amendment, never an overwrite: the original row stays, the change is recorded, and a deleted row is a tombstone you can still see. An attendance record you can edit invisibly is not a record.

The progress families can see
A parent who can see the rail move never has to ask. Real recorded work only — no invented progress.
Consent is a switch, not a sentence in a policy
One row per family, one switch. A family set to No photo is checked in for attendance and the camera never opens — and if something tried, the server refuses the upload. The check runs at capture and again before anything is shared.
Nobody has to remember the rule, because the rule is enforced on our side rather than posted on yours.

What we will not do
Your data stays yours
One center's students, families and photos are never visible to another center, pooled into benchmarks, or used to train anything.
No ads, no trackers
No third-party analytics on any surface a parent or child touches. Your families' attention is not for sale.
Photos need consent, every time
Per-family photo consent is checked before the camera opens and again before anything is shared. No consent, no capture.
The same tablet clocks your staff in
Staff ID and a PIN, then in, out, or a break — one tap, at the desk they are already standing at. Breaks are on the same screen on purpose: a meal break taken during the after-school rush and recorded nowhere is an unpaid half hour that gets paid, and at a center employing minors it is a break the compliance check cannot see.
Included from Growth, where the hours it records become the timesheet and the payroll line.

isolace is an independent product for Kumon franchisees. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Kumon. Whether it satisfies your particular insurance or franchise requirement is your insurer's call — we will tell you exactly what it records so you can ask them.
